Garrick Duckler is currently a psychoanalyst in Portland Oregon, a graduate of the San Francisco Psychoanalytic Center and the Wright Institute in Berkeley, California. Before entering the field of mental health, Duckler taught English Literature at Reed College, having received his Ph.D. from the University of Chicago. Duckler is a self-taught filmmaker, visual artist, creative writer, photographer and voice actor. The films, apart from appearing in festivals across the US and Canada, have been used in clinical training programs, academic classrooms and public screenings.
